Nike supplier in Indonesia makes a New $600Million Factory

Reports from Indonesia say Industry Minister Saleh Husin has inaugurated a $600 million shoe factory in Garut, West Java, which will produce for Nike.  The factory has an annual production capacity of 15 million pairs and will provide employment to 5,500 people.  In 2014, Indonesia exported $4.1 billion worth of footwear, according to a press release, up 6.4% from the preceding year.
